More pictures from the play "OKLAHOMA". My Granny Luton and some of her friends from church were also at the play. Ty is hugging my granny's friend Martha, Ty loves to call her Aunt Martha. Granny with her friend Gerhounda Hicks. Everyone had a great time. My cousin, Amber,went too but had to leave early to go to work.

Last Friday night Ty and I went out on a Mother/Son date; We went to see "Oklahoma" at SOSU. We had an extra ticket so we invited our friends Dottie, Maika and Kai to come too. We had a great time and it was a great play (long but great-3hrs). Here are some of the pictures we took. Kai's dance teacher was one of the dancers in the play; we took pictures afterwards.

 
Brandon and I were downstairs in the living room watching T.V. when we heard Ty singing upstairs in the bathtub. Brandon and I crawled up the stairs so that we wouldn't be caught; then Brandon starting recording it. Ty was much louder before we went upstairs. He is so funny!!!

With cub scouting Ty can earn a pin for "God and Me" and ours(Chruch of Christ) is called "The Loving Servant". For 8 weeks (every Sunday) we all meet at Northwest Church of Christ with other Church of Christ scouts and work on our lesson for the week. Last Sunday Andy's lesson was about "How you can serve others?" so he told the story of Jesus washing the disciples feet. Then he had the kids gather together and one by one washed their feet. This was so cool and the kids loved it. Great job Andy!!!

My friend Tracy came up from Texas and spent the weekend with my friend Debbie and I last weekend. When the three of us get together it is a blast. We laugh and carry one like all girlfriends do but our husbands have asked us several times in the past if we've been drinking; lets face it ladies guys don't know how to have fun like we do... The first night was girls night out, No Guys Allowed! We had a nice dinner at Romas and then went back to Debbie's house to watch a movie "Tyler Perry Why Did I Get Married?" Great movie, funny but had a few tearful moments. Then the girls brought me home around 1am. I had a scare once I got home(have to read "Thank You God" to get that story) we meet back up the next day at Catos to go shopping for Tracy some new clothes. Debbie and I helped Tracy spend $80 on herself Saturday. We invited the guys to go to dinner with us Saturday at Salitas. Ralph ordered this HUGE plate (think back to the movie Great Outdoors) we were all laughing when they brought it out; Monsterous! Back at Ralph and Deb's house we all played a game of dominos and Brandon and I stayed the night over there. Here are a few pictures of our weekend. Everyone should have a Friends Weekend!!! It is so fun and helps to remind us what is really important; God,Family, Friends, and not to ponder on the things that aren't really important in life.

There are things that happen to us that we just have to sit back and say "Thank You God" and Friday night I did just that. My friend Tracy came in from Paradise, Tx (by Decatur) and spent the weekend with our friend Debbie. That night was our girls night out just the three of us. We went and ate at Roma's and after that we came back to our house to get my heating pad(I did something to my siatic nerve), Brandon had cooked supper for him and Ty. Us girls came in and stayed for about 15 minutes and then left to go over to Debbie's house where we had rented movies and planned on watching at least one. Around 1 am the girls brought me back home and as I walked in through the garage door I immediately smelled gas. I went running into the house to our bedroom to wake up Brandon. Ty was asleep in our bed and I woke him up asking if he felt ok, and he said that he did. I went over to Brandon and told him to wake up that the house was filled with gas. He started talking in his sleep so I started opening up all the windows and the front door to get all the gas fumes out. Finally Brandon woke up and I had called Ralph (Debbie's husband) and he said to keep all the windows open and see if I could find where the smell was coming from. I went back into the kitchen and looked at the stove top and there was the dish that Brandon had used to cook in. I think that before him and Ty went to bed he must have taken the leftovers and put them up for his lunch the next day and when he set the dish back on the stove it pushed up against the knob because the knob was just barely away from off causing the gas fumes to come out. Brandon went upstairs to raise Ty's windows and said that it was a good thing that Ty fell asleep in our bed because the smell was twice as strong upstairs. I had a sick feeling all night and the next day. I ask myself "What if I would have stayed the night over at Debs?. Thank you God for watching over my guys!!!!! I am installing Carbon Monixde detectors this weekend!

Have had some pictures to post but lost my USB cable to my camera. Had to go to the dreaded Wal-Mart today, of course Radio Shack sent me there, and buy a new cable. Have some great blogs to update but that will have to happen tomorrow.....
