Sunday night we were at my in-laws to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. After swimming we came inside to have cake. Ty was on the floor on his stomach (no shirt on) and my nephew Jake (4) came over and put his hand on Ty's back. Jake said, "Wow, he changes colors" we all started laughing. Ty has had a sunburn so when Jake put his hand on Ty's back it turned white. Jake then went over to his pop and put his hand on pop's leg and said, "Pop, you can't change colors like Ty can". Too funny! If you didn't laugh then I guess you just had to be there, lol!
I am addicted to a new blog that I came across while searching through youtube videos on my Cricut (scrapbooking machine). I LOVE this website www.mypinkstamper.com. If you like to scrapbook or make cards this is a wonderful website. I am going to post some pictures of some of the cards that I have made lately....

WOW! We only have three more days to sleep in, lol! I have been so lazy this summer. I am not going to know what to do when I have to wake up at 6am. I am excited to start subing so that I have some money coming in! I am also starting to feel the sting of having a sixth grader this year, I am getting OLD...

Just want to vent a little about the all powerful Wal-Mart. I have been out of one of my colors of ink for my printer for about a month now, but I have been too broke to go buy a new one. Today I decided that it was a must have because I needed to print out some coupons for tomorrows grocery shopping day. I go to our newly remodeled Wal-Mart tonight to buy my blue cartridge (my printer takes 3 colored and 1 black cartridge)thinking that I can get the one that HAS to be replaced. NOPE, think again! The newly "improved" store does not carry the individual cartridges that I need anymore, now you must buy the package with all three colors and it is a whoppin $41.00. Just two months ago I could buy them individually for $13.00. I am not sure if it is all Wal-Marts or this "wonderful" town that I live in.....either way I am not happy! I am so tired of having to drive 30 miles away to get everyday items that we need in our house.....So thank you Wal-Mart!

Watching the movie "Julie and Julia" and it has inspired me to start blogging again. I know that I don't have anyone that reads my blog, but I found it relaxing when I blogged. I have more time on my hands now that I have graduated so I am ready to get to blogging!

Okay I can finally start counting down to graduation!
4 days left of my last college class
11 days until I start student teaching
100 days until graduation day
Am I a little excited? This answer is Uh YES! I thank God that he has provided for us for the past year and a half. A few weeks ago I had to drive to Caddo to observe one of the teachers that I will be student teaching under. I came home that night and Brandon and I were laying down relaxing. This is what happened:
Brandon: "How long has he been teaching?"
Me: "Nine years."
Brandon: "Wow babe! He has been teaching for as long as you have been in
school."
Me: "Thanks sweetheart!" Of course I gave him a V8! A V8, you might ask.
Yes, I wacked him on the forehead!
All joking aside I know that he is proud of me and I am proud of myself.....

This is the last day of Ty's Christmas break and I am really bummed. I can't believe how fast the time flew by. We didn't really get to go anywhere but we had a lot of fun just hanging out together and of course we got to sleep in everyday. January starts the long drawn out months of very few breaks until summer break. I sound like I am not going to be busy myself, ha! I start my semester in a week and start student teaching. Maybe Brandon, Ty and I can go somewhere on Spring Break or hang out around the lake....I live for school breaks!!!!
