Christmas Break is Here!

Yippee! I am free from school for about a month!!!! Tuesday my friend Mandi and I went over to Sherman to a classmates house for a celebration lunch. We had a great time and ate WAY to much! I had a terrible headache that afternoon, but I don't think the over eating had anything to do with it. It could however have a lot to do with my increasing waist line, ha ha! I will be posting some new post that I am behind on, so stay tuned!!!

I DID IT!!!!

Last month my friend Mandi and I went to Tulsa to take our OGET, it's our first test for our Elem. Education major, you have to take and pass this test to get into the program. The results take 4-6 weeks to get back, and last night I got my results. I PASSED!!!!! My friend Mandi passed also... I am so proud of us. When I left from taking the test I did not have a great feeling about it, I'm glad I was wrong... Thanks for the prayers that I requested from some of you....

I love this Job

Ok guys!!!

I don't know what happened to this post. The job that I am referring to is, teaching.
The day that I originally posted this, I had a sub job at one of the schools. I was in a kindergarten class, and I introduced myself to the students as Mrs. Wagoner. After about 2 hours I start to hear "Mrs. Wagon, can you help me?". I know I am probably the only one that finds that cute and funny, but I just had to share....

Prayers Needed

Hello guys and gals

I come to you with a heavy heart. Two days ago my dad got laid off and my mom is very upset, it is not the best time for this to happen (no time is good) but this comes at the holidays and they were just getting everything back on track financially. Then this morning my grandma told me that yesterday my brother (whose family lives with my parents) got laid off too. My brother and his fiance' are about to sign papers on a house next week (not sure what will happen now) and so as you can tell my parents are having a very tough time. Please say lots of prayers for my parents and my brother. Thank you for all your friendships....

A Great Fall Day!

Nothing like a parade and pumpkin patch to get you in the Fall Spirit! Today was the SOSU Homecoming parade and our SOEA advisor asked that we bring our kids to ride their bikes in the parade. We ordered the shirts and Ty, Dakota (my nephew) and myself were in the parade. Ty rode his bike and Dakota drove his gator (Aunt Jen ran beside him for 13 blocks!) and there were lots of kids that came to walk or ride in the parade. Everyone had a GREAT time! After leaving the parade we drove over to the pumpkin patch in Denison. They had a hayride that takes you to the pumpkin patch where you pick out your pumpkins. For $8 you get the hayride and any pumpkin (big or small) in the patch, and if the adults are only along for the ride then its even cheaper. They even had face painting, Ty and I got bats and Dakota got a pumpkin. We all had a great time and we took some great pictures to remember our fall day out!

I'm trying!

Hey guys

I have had a few things come up in the past month that have kept me from blogging. My classes started back (lots of projects and papers), Ty was sick when he came back from the Choctaw Labor Day weekend festival, then I was put in the hospital for some pains (possibly gallbladder), next Ty was sick again and missed two days of school last week. So with all that said, I missed a week of school (I only go on Tues and Thurs) and Ty missed two days of school; we have been catching up on all the homework for both of us. All us moms know that we are the ones that have to get the kids to get all that back work done... Then last Saturday night Brandon's boss asked him to please help them on the night shift for two weeks. They had a supervisor walk out and that shift was a mess anyways so they needed Brandon to go in their and straighten it all out so that it will run as smoothly as it does on Brandon's shift. And as if I'm not busy enough, my school advisor asked my to be President of the Southeastern chapter of OEA (Oklahoma educators association), this will look great on my resume and I was very proud that she thought of me for the job. We had our first meeting today and she told me that I will be attending other required meetings including State meetings. I am a little overwhelmed at this time but it will be a great opportunity. That is just a few things that have been going on it the Wagoner house. I do have an appointment with the specialist next Thursday so please keep me in your prayers. Love you all! Hope to post again soon. Also those of you that follow Ty's blog he will post again very soon. I know that Dottie and Aunt Kari are on the look out for an update....

More Pictures of Ty's Party

Here are the pictures of him opening presents and of course the cake...
Then there are some of the kids playing (and adults)! I love parties were the adults and kids alike get to play with all the new toys, don't you...Haha.
Thanks to everyone who came and who brought gifts. Ty has played all week.. And those who gave money, he is saving it for something BIG...Thanks again.
